A shared calendar for congregations and communities

Classes, gatherings, charity days, volunteer meetings and committee sessions sit with different people in different message groups. Rubu gathers your community’s programme in one place, and you decide who may update what.

How communities use Rubu

Regular classes and study circles

Enter weekly classes and study circles as recurring events, with venue and speaker in the description. If one week is cancelled, you cancel only that day.

Example: A Monday-evening class or a Wednesday-evening study group.

Charity and volunteer days

Open a separate category for food distribution, spring clean-ups or visiting days, and give the volunteer coordinator edit rights only there.

Example: First Saturday of the month, 10 am food parcel distribution; volunteers arrive at 9 for setup.

Special occasions and community gatherings

Publish festival programmes, family gatherings and open days on the public calendar page so newcomers can see them as well. Keep committee meetings visible only to those who need them.

Example: Community meals are public; the trustees’ meeting is visible to management only.

Committee and trustee meetings

Set meetings on a rule and keep discussion notes inside the event, end-to-end encrypted. Add a Google Meet or Zoom link for remote attendees.

Example: Committee meeting on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month; one member joins online from out of town.

Frequently asked questions

Does every member need an account?

No. For people who only want to see the programme there is a public calendar page (Pro). An account is needed for edit rights or notifications.

Can some meetings stay private?

Yes. Split events into categories and choose who sees each one. Events you do not mark public do not show on the public page, and online meeting links never appear on public pages.

Is it paid, and is there a discount for communities?

The Free plan is for one user. Pro is ₺249 per month or ₺2,499 per year, with a 7-day free trial on the web. We do not promise special discounts; you can write to us from the contact page.

Who can read the meeting notes?

Notes are end-to-end encrypted; unless you share them, nobody, including Rubu and calendar admins, can read them. On Pro they work on web, iPhone and Android.

Start on the Free plan and move to Pro when you need it.
